Special Phage Services Pty Ltd (SPS) is an emerging biopharmaceutical company with a pipeline of innovative antibacterials addressing the US$24 Bn antibiotic resistance market. SPH products target bacterial infections caused by “superbugs” such as MRSA (“Golden Staph”) or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Over the past 5 years SPS has built an extensive library of therapeutic phages against clinically important bacterial targets.  Combinations (cocktails) of these phages form the basis of SPS proprietary product formulations.  

SPS portfolio development strategy is aimed at reducing overall risks and is initially focused on one veterinary and two human health core products.
